The Abstract Competition at the Danish National Trauma Conference 2024!

All participants submitted an abstract of no more than 300 words (figures, tables and references included).

The theme of the conference was learning from excellence, a concept evolved to characterize the optimal, the secure and the rewarding from both patient and personnel perspectives.

Any aspect concerning trauma from idea, project proposals, testing, pilot studies to major scientific work was welcome, but “learning from excellence” abstracts connected to trauma was prioritized. The mode of presentation was the P3 model.

More information about learning from excellence and the P3 model can be found here.

The selected competitors for the abstract competition were
  • Trine N. Sommer et al: Prehospital use of lyophilized plasma – a quality assurance study
  • Malte Andreas Groth-Rasmussen Koch et al: Interhospital transfers in elderly trauma patients (CHAMPION of the abstract competition)
